Apple News+ Saving magazine issues (not articles) to read later . . . need a LINE account??

I tried to save a magazine issue with 'Save in Keep' and after tapping on my iPad it said I needed to login to my LINE account. But it didn't bring me to LINE so that I could set up an account. Never heard of it, what is a LINE account?

What happens to old issues of magazines, can we access them? If yes, how far back (how many issues) can we go?

I haven saved many articles for reading later, and only now thought of saving a magazine issue to read later.

LINE is a Japanese social network (the biggest & most popular in Japan). There is a messaging/platform app for iPhone. LINE has a manga distribution network, maybe it’s associated with the magazine you were wanting to save?
