I use my iPhone a lot via my Airpods and Siri while it rests in my pocket.
The problem I'm having is that everytime I have a call in this setup, the screen activates. My leg then often times presses mute or even ends the entire call.
Why on earth does the screen activate even though the proximity sensor should detect the phone is pocketed? This doesn't make any sense.
The only fix would be to place the phone with the screen facing away from me in my pocket. This is no alternative though, because I don't want to risk my screen getting damaged when taking an impact to the leg.
What's the point of this behaviour?
