I have a mid 2015 Mac book pro and I’m getting a hellaciously bad screen flickering off of it. Can anyone point me in a direction to fox it. I’m running high Sierra OS

I’d try upgrading to macOS Mojave. The graphical infrastructure changed quite a bit with the new os, so there’s a fair chance it will fix it.

It depends on the type of flickering happening. If its just straight on and off in addition to your keyboard, then its a hall sensor issue. If it occurs with varying brightness then its most likely a lcd backlight issue. If it occurs with artifacting or graphical glitches then the LCD is going bad or the integrated/dedicated GPU is the issue.

Hi,
yes, I would try to look for updates and see check the resolution setting.
A while ago I was having some flickering issue with my Mac and I simply change the resolution. Not an expert but you can try it.

Cheers
