It appears that you are no longer able to add 3rd party screen savers. I used one called Padbury Clock.saver which was just a big clock. I know there are some similar ones that apple made, but never exactly what I wanted.

One other thing I noticed is that even if I tell my computer not too put the display to sleep, it will black out my screen after a certain amount of time (haven't figured it out yet). Typically I like the screen saver to stay on all night so I can see the time.

I know this is a small thing but still something that maybe worth noting.

Having this issue too. Using Plasma.saver (from 10.4 Tiger actually, but updated to work past 10.10) and it tells me it's incompatible when I go into SysPrefs > Desktop & Screen Saver. Hopefully this is only a bug...
