I’ve got most of the controls for screen time for my kids implemented. But I wanted to know if there was any way to implement combined limits.
By that I mean, I want to set a limit on Games, and a separate limit for Entertainment, ie. Movies, and another for Messaging. But I want to also set an overall usage limit. Because I don’t want them using all the game time then moving to Movies etc. But I also feel like if I set a total screen time and lump all those uses together then they might use the entire combined screen time for just games which I’m not particularly thrilled about. I’d like to have them have a variety of usage which each type having it’s own limit but also having a total device access limit that might be less than the sum of the individual limits to keep them from using the device for hours on end.
