Screenshot settings

Hello. I am running Catalina 10.15 version.
I noticed when I make a screenshot it does not automatically save on a desktop as it did before the update. Now it opens a Viewer app and when I click on the x button then it asks me to save it. It no longer appear in a down right corner of a desktop with file name.

How to get back screenshots are automatically saved on a desktop with their name?

Any help would be meaningful to me.

Launch the Screenshot app with Spotlight then in the Options button at the lower right change the save location to Desktop.
