Screenshots not instant - any way to fix?

With the new update the screenshots do not get saved instantly, there's a slight delay while an iOS style window pops up on the side of your screen so you can trim the screenshot. Any way to disable it? Accidentally sent a compromising screenshot because I expected the new one instantly...
