You'll have to relearn how to take a screenshot with the iPhone X . Here's how.

While other tasks, like app-switching, have replaced the home button with swipe gestures, taking a screen cap still requires you to press physical buttons. If you've ever been an Android user, then chances are, the new workflow will feel familiar.

To take a screenshot with the iPhone X, hold the power switch and the volume up key. You should still hear the "click" and see the visual indication that the image was taken.

And that's it. Other than that, screenshots will still work the same way, so you can use iOS 11's new markup features to tweak your shots before you opt to save or send them. (Note that screenshots taken with the iPhone X won't show the "notch," they'll look like normal, symmetrical images.)
