Hey guys, I switched to Word 2020 for my writing projects. Version 16.42. I like it but I can't find the scroll bar. Some of my projects are many tens of pages, I need to be able to jump around quickly with the scroll bar. Has anyone had this issue? Thank you for any suggestions.

Version 16.42 is a very old version, and there’s no “2020” version of Office for Mac. What version do you have- it’s either 2019, 2021 or 365. Also what operating system is on your Mac?

In About Microsoft Word it says ©2020. It's an older version I had on my HD, but newer than the one I'd been using. To be honest, I don't care with Word, just want it to work. I use Mojave. I'm hoping to discover how to find / use the scroll bar.

Under the “about Word” menu it will show what license you have. Once you know that you will then be able to see what version is the last you can update to. Have you checked for Word updates from the help menu?
The last version of Office which supports Mojave is 16.53 so you should at least update to that. You can find links to Microsoft’s updaters here: https://macadmins.software
