CarPlay Scrolling Through Songs CarPlay

When did Apple remove the ability to scroll through all songs (playlist or full library) while driving? It functions like Android Auto now which I despised. Only gives you about 10 songs on the list then has a button to ask Siri for more songs.

Or is this a car manufacturer implemented limitation? Recently switched from a 2017 Audi A6 to a 2020 Dodge Ram 1500 and this was definitely not present in my Audi.

I’m currently on iOS 13.5.1
