Did anyone test if you can access image files on a SDcard (Via the lightning adapter) directly from the FILES app in IOS 12? I don’t have high hopes as Apple still does not want photographers to use IOS as a daily driver - apparently this is still considered MAC territory.
I just don’t get Apple... They allow us to import images into PHOTO’s from the SDcard reader - but most of us need those images in a 3’rd party app or a cloud service. Why not allow us to copy/import images from SDcards directly in FILES as well? That way we could skip copying to photo’s and then import into another app/cloudservice.
