Panther not always reveals the correct screen resolutions that my second monitor is capable of.
As you can see from the two screen shots, they are both different.
I want to use 1152x870 but this rarely appears. The second screenshot is what normallly appears, 1280 at 60Hz is just aweful!
Jaguar had an option to force OSX to display all resolutions, even if not supported. Unfortunately Panther has removed this option. I'm forced to use 1024x768 on my second monitor - its too small.
any ideas of how I can force a resoution?
I have a G3 iBook 800 (hacked the firmware for dual displays), it worked fine under Jaguar..
