Can someone please let me know after Security Update 2020-005 which is the Mojave and Safari version and build number?

From Safari 14's version plist:

Code:
CFBundleShortVersionString: 14.0
CFBundleVersion: 14610.1.28.1.9
ProductBuildVersion: 610A52
SourceVersion: 7610001028001009

No idea how to get the build number of macOS itself. Can't find anything in the system report.

To find the version number of macOS click on :apple: > "About this Mac" > "Overview Tab" click when it reads "Version x.x.x"

The build number will appears (xxxxxx)

Or find the latest in Wikipedia

Release history

macOS Mojave 10.14.6 (18G6032) - September 24, 2020

Is easier if you open Safari and check the version number and build number

I do not understand anything about your 14's version plist

Still need the Safari version and build number, please

CFBundleVersion: 14610.1.28.1.9

Thanks

This could have gone into that thread you quoted in the first post, it's kinda sad to see five different threads discussing the same topic matter.

I was very tired yesterday, I did not figure out, thanks :)

How do you read the 14's plist?

Camelia

From the terminal: less /path/to/Something.app/Contents/version.plist (e.g. /Applications/Safari.app/Contents/version.plist)

Not all applications include the version property list. In that case you may find the information in the file Info.plist instead.

I investigated this and discovered that I have Safari 14610.2.11.1.3.

I'm just trying to find out where I stand with this.
