My iPhone 8 is acting wonky. For some unknown reason, all of my iPhone Safari bookmarks disappeared. My backup file created in iTunes is about 2 weeks old, so I would like to selectively restore only the bookmarks. Can I selectively restore the bookmarks? If so, how do I do that?

It is worth asking, are bookmarks typically backed up when backing up iphone in iTunes?

I just did some research and discovered iTunes does not restore selectively. However, I found an app that can selectively restore lost files from iPhone or iTunes called Fonedog.

It got very mixed reviews. Is anybody familiar with this app? Any similar apps?

I installed it but haven't opened it yet, as I am somewhat wary about getting a virus. Please advise. Thank you
