Text messages to or from one contact auto-delete on my Mac as soon as I try to look at them. On the iPhone everything works normally. On my High Sierra Mac, everything works normally. But on my main Mac which is on Ventura 13.6 right now, I receive notifications of a text, but if I look in the messages app it instantly disappears as if there was no text. It started happening about a year ago in Monterey, and has been persistent only with this one single contact.

The sender uses iPhones and Macs on a variety of versions which are either fully, or almost fully up-to-date.

I've tried deleting the contact... turning off iMessage in the cloud, logging in, out, iCloud, messages, iPhone, Mac, over and over and over.

I think the messages database on this Mac might be corrupted for this one contact. Any ideas on how to dig in deeper?
