Hi Guys,

I decided to sell my Air and since this is my first Macbook I am a bit uncertain about what I need to do to erase all of my presence in the machine before I hand it over to new owner.

I guess there are some obvious things such as log out of iTunes, iMessage, App Store etc. and then do some sort of system reinstall? Is that it or am I missing something?

I would really appreciate if you could help me out with this.

Thank you very much in advance

Easy way - make a new admin account with an easy password, log out of your account and into the new account. Delete your account and follow the prompts. Your data providing you click right will be gone.

Harder way - boot the Mac into recovery mode wipe the drive and install a fresh copy of OS X.
