What I am trying to do is send a message to a bot we have on my company's server. I have created a simple interface that will create a string based on people's choices in the UIPicker and such, but I have no idea how to send it once I have the string. The bot is mostly used on Jabber and through im clients, but I am told that if I can learn to send a simple text message then they will tell me where to send it.
Basically it comes down to this...I need to send a message to a server. Whether is be xmpp, text message, or anything else does not matter. I just need a way to send (and maybe at one point receive) a message. If anyone can help me do this then that would be great.
