hey guys. im sending in my unlocked jailbroken iphone in for repairs. is there anyway for me to "reset" it or "re-lock" it so that when i send it for repairs, it looks as if it just came out of the box?

also, before i want to "reset" the whole iphone, is there anyway to backup all my files and applications? and then when i receive my iphone back, i could just reload my files and applications, etc back in to my iphone?

thanks in advance

You need to restore it before you send it off. There is no way to backup your installer apps. you can back up pics and contacts but thats it. Plug in your phone and click restore. let itunes do its thing and then set up as new iphone. follow the steps and then disconnect and make sure there are no traces of unlock/jailbreak. Let me know if they send you a new one or return old one please.
