I’ve been sharing the same Apple ID as my mother since I was in school. I haven’t linked anything to the iCloud associated with my mother’s Apple ID.
Now that I’m moving to college I would like to at least be able to link to an iCloud, but I don’t want the content on my phone to be linked to her iCloud.
I also want to transfer everything onto a new iPhone but I cannot do that through iTunes on my laptop because I’ve used over 200 GB on my phone and cannot backup to iTunes as “there is no space on my laptop.”
What are my options? What can I do so that I do not lose anything on my phone nor link my content to hers by accident?
