Series 7 night rider mode

Hi, i have an Apple Watch Series 7. On a couple of occasions before ive gotten into bed i noticed that my watch face had changed to the red night rider mode, only available on the ultra i think? Has anyone seen this before or know how to activate it?

Are you talking about nightstand mode with the watch on the charging puck, or when wearing it? If you are talking about nightstand mode, be aware that the color changes to red when the battery charge level is low (below a certain percentage).

No not nightstand mode, it was while it was still on my wrist but the room was dark…looked just like the ultra face
