Upgraded yesterday at Best Buy trading in my series 7. I see the 9 has a few more features such as crash protection and 64GB of memory. Besides that what else is major? One of the reasons I upgraded was because my 7 is almost at 80% battery health. Does the 9 have a larger battery? Thanks…

There are a several other technological improvements on the series 9, including a quad-core neural engine chip for machine learning tasks. This chip powers the double finger tap gesture, and enables Siri to process requests on the watch instead of sending them to Apple for processing in the cloud. The series 9 battery is rated for the same 18 hours as your old series 7, but I find my series 9 greatly exceeds that, with more than 50% of the charge left after 18 hours, despite doing several workouts.

Does your oxygen sensor work? Curious if Best Buy is still selling old stock, but I suppose that could vary by location.

On-device Siri (for setting reminders especially) and double tap were worth the price of admission for me.
