In settings>general>iPhone storage it has recommendations for where storage being used.
In one it has "review larger attachments" this is in iMessage. It then lists a load of photos mainly on mine that I presume I've sent via iMessage.
Is it safe to just deleted all of these, I've kept all my iMessage threads, and it will only delete the attachments in there iMessages but leave the photos in my iCloud photo library?
Obviously I don't want to delete the actual photo, but am nervous what it will do at the moment.
