Share Macbook on local network - not work LAN

Hi guys

I'm trying to run an App called Chronosync to sync a folder on my 2 Macs here at home.

I see that I can enable file sharing and my finder will see both Macs under 'Sharing' heading.

My question is, if I share my Macbook Pro does this mean when I'm on-site in work and using their WIFI that other staff can see my files too?

Obviously I want to share my MacBook on my home WIFI only.
