Finished poster, didn’t have time to vector the sketches so just tightened/tidied them up best I could, actually quite like how it turned out so might have to try pushing this style a bit. All procreate apart from the text and my logo which were added in photoshop. Hope everyone’s have a good Friday!

Why did you use Photoshop for the text? Is there something lacking in the text feature on Procreate or just familiarity with photoshop?

A couple reasons really. Firstly all my typefaces are either installed on my Mac or through Adobe Typekit. For this particular illustration I wanted to use a typeface called Tusker and I wanted to have control over line height and kerning. Secondly, I wanted to use photoshops opacity modes to have one layer of text behind the illustration and one in front to get the effect that looks like the text shows "through" the illustration.
