Hello, I am hoping someone has some ideas. It seems that ever since I went to Sonoma on my Mac and iOS/iPadOS 17 on iPad/iPhone, if I add a photo to a shared album (that I created) on any device, it takes quite awhile to show up in that shared album on my other devices - the most recent test it took 30 minutes! Yet if I take a photo with my camera on a device, which creates a new photo in my library, it shows up almost instantaneously everywhere. Photo deletes from the shared library also show up instantaneously. Deleting a photo from a shared album is instantaneous though!
It's like something is really slowing down shared albums. I have tried:
- restarting all devices
- turning off/on sharing on my Mac; then same on my iPhone
- creating a new shared album and testing with it
- testing with shared albums with other subscribers and no other subscribers
- I am under to 200 shared album limit
- I do not use Family Sharing
- List of devices on my iCloud account is correct
