19,1 iMac, Monterey 12.2.1 to 17,1 iMac w Mojave 10.14.6: I only have one Apple iCloud account. I have set up sharing on both devices, so I see the Monterey Photo Library when using the Mojave device. Why won’t Mojave Photo app use the Monterey Photo Library if sharing is turned on between both devices. Mojave tells me that it does not recognize the Monterey Photo library file.

What gives? I have only one iCloud account.

Are you trying to use the actual library from Monterey in Mojave? I doubt that’ll Work. Just start with a new blank library in Mojave. Then connect to iCloud Photos. Letting it download everything.
