I went to look at something in System Preferences earlier, and I saw that the "Sharing" pane was missing. Was this a change with Mavericks (I don't go into the preferences very often), or is it a software bug? I have also checked to make sure that it is not hidden, and it will not show up with a search of the preferences.

EDIT: After thinking about the problem for a while, I thought of going back in a Time Machine backup to get the SharingPref.prefPane file. After searching through several months of backups, I found the file and restored it. It must have gotten deleted during the latest update to Mavericks.

Well, is there any way to get it back without reinstalling Mavericks?

You might be able to get it back by installing the 10.9.3 Combo updater, but you can just reinstall Mavericks over the top of your existing installation and it'll just replace missing files without deleting your data.
