Is there a way to have a shortcut to change the default web browser? I checked the shortcuts app but couldn't find anything. Ideally there would be a menu bar item with a drop down menu. Or if you right-clicked on a link you could choose 'Open with'.

I prefer to use Safari but sometimes have to open certain links in Chrome.

This is already a standard feature of the OS.
That was the first thing I looked for, so that would be great! But I don't see it. This is Safari in 14.2:

I see. Since you're already in Safari, you aren't presented an opportunity to open links in other browsers. I just tried Brave, and it also doesn't offer to open links outside Brave. So you have to copy these links to open them in another browser.

But if you are elsewhere in the system, like email, you have a right-click choice.

OK, thanks! I guess I only tried from Safari.

I don't think it's a hardship to right click on a link to highlight it, use the keyboard to copy it, open a different browser and paste the link. Sure, it's more steps, but they don't take up much time or require extraordinary effort.

Now, if you're doing that several times a day, I can see why you'd want a simpler option.
