Does anybody else here think that Shortcuts looks like Windows Phone?

Flat design is the worst thing to ever happen to the iPhone. It looks like a soulless Microsoft UI, and that's precisely because Apple copied the Microsoft-pioneered trend of flat design.

Apple needs to bring back Scott Forstall's skeuomorphic design gorgeousness that was present in iOS 6.

There’s some decent flat design out there, but Apple just did the bare minimum, the Microsoft paint clip art icons are the worst. The photos icon hurts to look at, never understood how it relates to photos, it’s just ugly and out of place on a smartphone.

Hoping with iOS 18 they finally go a completely different direction, at the very least give us some new icons that don’t look like they were made with some 3 year olds crayolas.

Actually, Apple doesn't need to do anything, because they're fully aware that we'll continue buying and using their phones anyway.
I do agree the flat design is ugly, though.
