iPad Should I install iOS 8.1 on the iPad 2 for grandma?

This is for my wife's grandma. She is currently running the latest version of iOS 7 on her iPad 2. She does not have an iPhone. She has a Samsung Galaxy S3. Also no Macs in her house. Just one single computer running Windows 7.

She does run some apps and likes to discover more. Just wondering if she should bother upgrading or just let it stay at iOS 7?

No, keep iOS 7 on there till 8.1.1 comes out which apparently boosts iPad 2 performance.

8.x is a lag fest on A5 chip devices
