No: there are multiple threads on the forum with people facing various bugs. Better wait for 13.2 or keep 12.4 Why changing when everything is working great?

If you are on 13.0 then update to 13.1. It’s smoother. Not really sure what people are referring to when they say their are so many bugs. I have experienced any real problems with the update.

I went straight to 13.1, no 13.0 at all, but all my emails are now from No Sender with No Subject.
As such i would recommend against it personally. None of the fixes out there have resolved it other than full deletion of the account.

battery is definitively better on 13.1. For now I can say it’s on par with 12.4.1 in that department. For bugs it’s better than iOS 13.0 but there’s still too many irritating bugs compared to the almost perfect 12.4.1 so if you are still there wait.

I am a light user. Upgraded my X from 12.4.1 to 13.1 this morning. Phone slightly faster and more responsive, battery seems the same. FaceID definitely faster. Nice new features.

If you are on 12.4.1, no. If you are on 13.0, probably yes. Many people have multiple serious problems with 13.1. Browse this forum first and see what you think you can love with.

Thank you so much for the advice here! My Xr currently is running on 12.4.1. I am really tempted to update to 13.1, but maybe I should way abit until it's more stable.

Another quick update after a day of general use. Battery is definitely better. Don’t know how they’ve done it but the X is faster snappier and the battery lasts longer?

I am in the same position of deciding to download 13.1 I have a 8Plus, and have heard nothing but wonderful things about 13.1 except from the Forums on macrumors. Our IT guy downloaded and has no problems and is telling everyone in our company to go ahead and update our company iPads and iPhones to 13.1. Not sure why all the posts on the forums are so negative.

Partly because people who are not having problems tend not to speak up. But nearly every reviewer talked about how buggy iOS 13 was, and 13.1 doesn’t seem to have fixed a lot of the bugs.
