My FireWire drive cannot be detected on Disk Utility nor mounted on Finder despite being reported on System Information. First Aid on Disk Utility ran fine on boot drive. The same drive when plugged with USB mounted fine.
It is only after every restart then only it mounts properly. Few days later problem recurs.
Did SMC and PRAM reset, problem still persisted. Console did not record any errors.
Any recommended solutions...?
