You saved my day good sir (or madam). That worked to get my PCIe Sata II card back up and running on Mountain Lion. Thank you!!!
Had the same problem after upgrading to Mountain Lion.
1.2.6 drivers fixed my Lacie 2 port eSATA card!
This did not work for me, mysteriously...
I'm using 10.8.2 on a mid-2010 MBP. effing eff.
I've now tried the Silicon Image download and the Sonnet 1.2.6 driver for my LaCie 2 port eSATA card...
My Wiebetech Teracard express/34 started working on Lion after I installed the Sonnet Tempo drivers.

"Tempo SATA E2P, Tempo SATA Edge ExpressCard/34 and Tempo SATA ExpressCard/34 Driver (OS X 10.5+) 1.2.5"
The driver noted below also works for my early 2009 MacPro running a Drobo S.
Note that this is NOT the Silicon Graphics driver that Drobo tech support said to install.
THANK YOU!
THEY WORK! I just installed 1.2.6 over the 1.2.5 driver that I had installed. Thank you niclet!
