Just been cursorily reading about Microsoft's 'rival' product to Flash, or at least that's the way I understand it.

Anyone know more about it? Is this another attempt to snipe at Adobe, similar to the Metro document format, which incidentally seems to have gone very quiet recently.

Apparently, they're keen to tie this into their Expression range of creative Windows-only apps. With all the hooha about Adobe's pricing structures by some people, maybe these apps might be of interest to some...

I'm intersting in reading about Silverlight too. The name is certainly better than "WPF/E".

To answer your question, I haven't played with it. The beta release isn't even out yet!

Even though they claim Silverlight gives you better video than Flash, Microsoft will be playing catch-up as usual.
