In addition to fooling around with classic macs, I'm also heavily invested in the Atari 8 bit computer scene. There is a cable that can run from a PC to an Atari called a SIO2PC cable. It fools the Atari into thinking that the PC is a disk drive, and you can load programs onto the Atari from the PC's hard drive.
Is there a cable like this for a Mac? I'd love to have something like that to emulate an external hard drive for the Mac Plus to eliminate startup disks and the like. Any ideas?
