I'm about to buy a set of headphones with a microphone for my ipad, as I Skype on it a lot and my old pair is almost dead.
There is one feature that I want, the mic should be on an adjustable arm, not built into the cable. I have found a lot of headsets like this, however they all gave two 3.5mm jacks, one for the mic and another for the ear pieces. Obviously this cannot be plugged into an ipad.
My question us, if I bought a splitter, the y shaped thing that people use so they both can plug in and listen to the same device. Would this work and allow me to plug a one of these headsets into my ipad?
