I know I can mod the original vanilla Skyrim using Nexus Mods via their installer or manually, the Nexus Mod Manager makes it so much easier.

Now onto Skyrim The Special Edition, when this was first released It just would not work for me. Today out of interest and during my lay off from playing Skyrim having added more memory to my machine I gave it another shot and to my surprise it works.

On booting it up I see there is now an in game option to install mods.

My question is should I install the mods I want the old way using the Nexus Mod Manager or use the In game mod option ? It looks though using the in game method maybe easier than even the Nexus client.

Has anybody used the in game mod option, if so does it work OK ?

Or can I mix and match some mods through nexus and some through Bethesda.net ?
