I plan to install Windows 7 on my 27" iMac (Mid-2011), however there are a couple of issues important to my purposes which I am uncertain of. In question form, they are as follows:
1. Is it possible to turn off the iMac display via keyboard shortcut in Windows as in OS X?
2. Can this be done with a non-Apple keyboard? If so, how?
I would greatly appreciate any possible answers.

Download "Instant Sleep" here and map it to the hotkeys of your choice!
