iPhone X slow copy speed for photos to pc

hi all,

got an iphone X and been using camera alot.

on windows opening my computer going to iPhone and copy photos to PC its only get 5mbs..

from my camera sd card i get 80-100mbs per second..

why is the transfer speeds so slow ? is this normal if not how do you copy your photos/video from iphone ? as at 5mbs it will take hours to copy files.

Still usb 2. 5mbps doesn’t sound right though. Maybe driver issue.
