I'd love to use this if two things changed:

1) Make it usable on the homescreen as well. I keep all my applications in a folder (Categories) in the dock, so it'd be perfect for me to have widgets on my empty homescreen.

2) A notifications widget. Something that will collect notifications so that'd I'd be able to install a popup blocker to get around Apple's "One and done" notification system.

I'm still interested in this... but is there a way to get it on the home screen vs on the lockscreen?

Maybe a 3rd party hack?
