SMS Notification

To those of us lucky enough to have our hands on an iPhone today, has anyone had any luck with changing the notification sounds for SMS text messages or emails? It seems that the default setting isnt that obvious to hear if youre in an environment with some ambient noise.

I have mine on silent, it does a very short vibrate.
