This year I am tempted to get the mini 4, considering it as a significant upgrade over my old mini 2 in terms of performance, display and features (split view, PiP). However one thing that prevents me from pulling the trigger is iOS 9 graphic performance. I have played around with the mini 4 in the store but it kinda feels jerky (Split view & PiP are working flawlessly, but app switcher & spotlight animations are like 1-10 fps which are unacceptable to my OCD eyes). I know that this is early day of iOS 9 and things can gradually improve (I really hope Apple can do something similar to iOS 7.1 over iOS 7!) so I wanna ask people with mini 4 and the beta of iOS 9.1 before purchasing, how is the performance? Is there any improvement over 9.0.1?
