I'll start us off:

I can't wait to use notability with the pencil and play football manager touch

I might have to bite the bullet on tweetbot 4 too :/

Is the news app good on iPad?

I'm upgrading from a 5-year-old iPad 2 to the new iPad Pro 9.7". Never really used any iPads other than my own iPad 2 so I'm hoping it'll be a good upgrade ;)

Anyway-- here are some of the apps i use on my iPhone and iPad regularly!

American Red Cross First Aid and Emergency Apps (All free!) - Resource for finding instructions on what to do in emergency situations of all kinds. I download all the apps and keep them in a little "Emergency" folder on my home screen.
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/first-aid-by-american-red/id529160691?mt=8

Scanner Pro by Readdle - Scan physical paper into PDFs. Insanely helpful for managing paper handouts in classes and pretty much eliminating paper from your life.
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/scanner-pro-7-document-receipt/id333710667?mt=8

Procreate - The premiere high end sketching/drawing/photo editing app on iOS. Constantly adding new features. Nothing is a Photoshop replacement on iOS but this gets it closest IMO.
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/procreate-sketch-paint-create./id425073498?mt=8

Workflow - As close to Automator on OS X as you can get in iOS. Put together individual sequences of commands in the app, and then in other apps you use in iOS you can bring up Workflow to manipulate other docs. It's abstract, but when you include it in your work process it can help solve repetitive tasks very easily!
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/workflow-powerful-automation/id915249334?mt=8

Calcbot - iPad for some reason doesn't come with a calculator app. Thanks, Apple! Luckily, we have Calcbot available in the app store. I love the scroll back function and robust memory recall functions. I think you have to purchase the units converter add-on if you want that.
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/calcbot-intelligent-calculator/id376694347?mt=8

System Status - Allows you to see some of the guts of the system that are going on in the background. Really geeky. Love it! If you're in IT I might also recommend their Network Status app as well!
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/system-status-activity-monitor/id401457165?mt=8

Weather Underground - Again, iPad doesn't come with a weather app. Thanks Apple. :( - But it's OK! Because Weather Underground is more robust than the iPhone's stock weather app AND can give you great quick-access widgets in the Notification Center! Great for looking at a map or getting a forecast while you're doing other stuff. There are unintrusive ads, but I think you can upgrade with a in-app-purchase to remove ads.

Camera+ - The new 9.7" iPad has an awesome camera in it. I like that the Camera+ app allows for manual control over various camera functions. I'm not a photography guy but it's a really interesting way to learn manual controls for cameras as well as provides a separate "Camera Roll" besides the one built in to iOS. The Macro setting provides a really good medium between digital zoom and close-up focus which gives excellent clarity. 10/10 would shoot again.

Rain, Rain - If you're like me, you may have trouble sleeping in total silence. Both iPad Pros have great speakers so I'm really looking forward to sleeping with some wonderfully clear white noise.
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/rain-rain-sleep-sounds/id478687481?mt=8

Playstation - I game on my PS4 a lot. Sometimes, you just want to buy a game at work and have your PS4 remotely download it. Or make sure your buddies haven't gotten more trophies than you. Or check and see what events and games are coming up. Love me my Playstation app.
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/playstation-app/id410896080?mt=8

iCircuit - If you deal with electronics in any way... iCircuit is a necessity for SPICE simulation on iOS. Drag and drop components onto a virtual breadboard and see how your circuit works, without getting your hands dirty! I use this at least once a week in my line of work. It truly is awesome. There's also an OS X version available in the Mac App store.
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/icircuit/id383359044?mt=8

Tapatalk - If you're on this forum, it's likely you use other online forums. Tapatalk brings all your favorite online forums together in a convenient app. It's been revised since I last used it, and I really like the way it works now. Really slick!

That's all I got! Enjoy.

I don't think this exists, but I'd love if it did: for 3D artists, something like substance painter would make good use of a touchscreen/stylus UI.
