Software for DVD extraction?

Is there any software that will extract audio files from a DVD? I remember there was a DVD extractor in OS 9, but I could never get it to work properly.

I've been using WireTap to record from the internal Supdrive, but it takes forever in realtime. Especially a double DVD set. Any suggestions my fellow Macologist?

Success! The video extraction works as well. At last I can back up my Speed Racer Signature collection. Now if we just had access to DVD media discs bigger than 4.7GB.

Well, dual layer burners (and media) with a capacity of 8.5 GB are supposed to come to the market this spring...
