Hello all,
Sorry if this has been asked and/or resolved before, but I have a Mac Pro 1,1 running Mavericks acting as a recording studio at my place of employment. Recently, a generous patron donated an Apple Cinema HD Display (Acrylic, ACD Connector, 1920x1200) and the adapter brick for the Mac. In setting it up, I learned that the brightness controls are no longer supported under Mavericks, and I'm wondering if anyone has come across a workaround or has been able to port the drivers from previous versions of OS X where these "legacy" displays (as Apple calls them) are "supported." The display works fine, even USB works fine. It's just rather dim, and I have no way to up the brightness.
Thanks for any help.
