Resolved [Solved]Cant boot 10.6 DVD on MP 1,1?

I recently got ahold of 10.6 on DVD.

I wanted to install OSX onto a fresh disk drive.

When I put the DVD in the drive, it doesnt boot from it, and instead boots straight into windows (after the chime and white apple init screen).

This is on a MP 1,1 by the way.

Edit, it has the apple 7300gt in slot 4 and a pc radeon 4870 in slot 1 if this makes a diff.

Edit 2, Solved! Removed the 4870 from the machine and it booted the DVD :):)
