I have an iCloud Photos library with around 30k images. I share large parts of the collection with family members.

In particular, two photos are shared with them, which both in Photos on macOS and at iCloud.com show up as being part of the shared library, but not in Photos on my wife’s Mac. My wife’s Mac does have all of the other shared images in it.

There has been a lot of back-and-forth, as I am sorting out double-shared images. I am just hoping that this is a consequence of the servers in the background sorting it out. Perhaps, also, a process on those servers has crashed and needs to restart itself.

Any idea on how to force it along?

What version of MacOs is she using?

I've noticed that my MBP running 14.4 is not reliably updating iMessage or Notes.

This has been going on for two days now:

It’s been stuck at the same position. Quitting and relaunching Photos does not help. Neither does a restart. Not sure, which item is needing to sync, or I would temporarily delete it.
