I just got a new iPod Touch 2019 version. And I have a specific problem with songs/albums covers.

When I delete a specific cover on iTunes it shows as deleted (with that generic gray note picture), but on my iPod it stays the same (it shows the old one, the one that I deleted on iTunes). When I tried changing it with some other cover from my computer, they both changed, meaning the problem only occurs when I actually want to delete the cover and leave a song without any cover.

What can I do?

Thanks for your help.

Just curious, why are you trying to remove the artwork from the iPod?

You can try to deselect the songs in iTunes using the checkboxes (and press the option to only sync songs that are checked for the iPod), then sync the iPod, and the tracks should disappear from the iPod. Then, select the songs again, and re-sync the iPod. That should cause the tracks to completely refresh on the iPod and the artwork should be removed on both.

Good luck!
