I have been with bellsouth dsl for a few years. I have had no problem with internet speeds what so ever until now. I used to own a powermac g5 in the past. I now own a Imac 24" (SWEET BY THE WAY) and a macbook. Since the inception of the Imac I seem to have noticed slow down alot. I figured it was my router so I purchased a belkin and the problem is still here.
I have it hooked up from the dsl modem to the belkin router then to my imac. On the router side I went via pppoe as that is what bellsouth uses. I can not use the pppoe option on the mac side only automatic for some reason. Anyway I have a connection speed of 6.0 which is bellsouths fastest. I sometimes get it then seems to slow down to a crawl then fast again. I have even had to reset the belkin to get on sometimes......Any Ideas....Sorry so Long of a post.....MC:mad:
