I just bought a used iPhone X from Gazelle, "acceptable" condition.
I am moving from a 6s Plus which I have owned for 6 years.

I feel like something is off about the audio, but I haven't been keeping track of comparisons between each successive model release, and I can't rule out that I'm just used to a certain thing.

When sound is played from the speaker, it sounds "tinny" and I'm surprised that it sounds worse than my 6s+. When I make phone calls (holding the phone to my ear) everything sounds abnormally quiet. Even the volume level of the sound of the phone ringing sounds too quiet. I have tried moving my ear around to find a sweet spot.

Is anyone aware of any settings, known issues, or general advice for these things I'm noticing?
